Motorola T42 3-pack

PMR446 radios have taken over the market of walkie talkies, and for good reason: they don’t need a license of any sort, they are very compact in size and in favourable conditions their range is still very nice.

• Used with 3 x AAA cells per phone (batteries not included)
• Choose from 16 channels
• Lincense-free PMR446 system
• The package contains three radios, three belt clips, 24 stickers and a user manual
• Measurements of one radio: 13.6 cm from the tip of the antenna to the bottom, 4.8 cm in width and 2.7 cm in thickness
• Weight of one radio without batteries: 79 grams

The range of PMR radios depends a lot on the environment: if there is a direct line of sight between them, the range can be as long as 4 km, but hills, rocks and walls can cut the range to a fraction of that.
