Marmot Men's Minimalist Pertex Pant

The hugely popular Minimalist garments are now made with Pertex fabric. The Minimalist line has long offered excellent performance, especially for its price. A great choice as general-purpose pants for a rainy autumn hike or as a backup for any trip in case of rain.

The pants have a so-called 2.5-layer construction. This makes them lightweight, flexible, and highly packable. It’s usually best to wear base layer pants or snug-fitting other pants underneath 2.5-layer pants – though in a hurry, you can of course throw them on over shorts as well.

The 3/4-length side zippers make it easy to put them on even with shoes on, and they also serve as ventilation.
