LifeStraw Go 2.0 – Water-filtering drinking bottle – an easy-to-use option. LifeStraw contains no chemicals and requires no pumping. Since the filter element is inside the bottle, it doesn’t take up extra space. Just fill the bottle with water, close the lid, and you can start drinking immediately.

As the “2.0” in the name suggests, this is a further developed version of the original. It now includes an activated carbon element that removes unpleasant tastes from the water. In addition, at least 50% of the fiber in the bottle itself is now recycled.

• Filter element made from hollow fibers with a filtration size of 0.2 microns
• Lifespan: about 4000 liters for the fiber filter and 100 liters for the activated carbon
• The fiber filter removes 99.9% of protozoa (Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium parvum)

The filter meets the U.S. NSF 42 standard for chlorine reduction, and US EPA & NSF P231 drinking water standards for filtering bacteria and parasites.

Avoid letting the water filter freeze. Freezing will at minimum jam the filtration function and may break the filter element entirely.
