The Leki Sherpa FX Carbon Strong belongs to the manufacturer’s Trekking product family. Trekking series poles are a reliable choice for truly versatile use: their most common applications are hiking and trekking, but thanks to interchangeable baskets, this pole model can also be used for backcountry skiing and snowshoeing if desired. In wilderness-oriented use, the poles can also be used to set up a lean-to shelter or a pole-supported tent.

The Sherpa FX Carbon Strong is supplied with Trekking 2.0 baskets suitable for snow-free terrain, as well as Big Mountain Binding baskets that feature a reinforced section for use with backcountry ski bindings.

Thanks to the ELD construction, the poles have a packed length of only 40 cm. A cable running inside the pole tightens it securely, and the upper section features stepless adjustment.
