Suitable for different footwear
Easy attachment/detachment, no need to bend over.
Sometimes comes off while skiing, if the tension is not precisely adjusted. Easy removal is an advantage when you break ice on ice.
The ski tilts more easily because the mono is slightly higher thanks to the base.
For demanding group trips, however, I would take the traditional group model, which has experience from dozens of group trips in Lapland.
