The outdoor map Muotkatunturi 1:50,000 is printed on an even more durable synthetic material and packaged in a cardboard box. Waterproof domestic outdoor maps can be identified by the yellow marking on the cover.

The double-sided outdoor map covers almost the entire vast Muotkatunturi wilderness area and its surrounding areas. There are no marked hiking trails in the wilderness, and other hikers are rarely encountered. The region is therefore excellent for experienced wilderness hikers who want to follow their own paths.

The map material is completely waterproof and can withstand almost unlimited folding, and it will not tear during normal map use. The properties are also maintained in frost and heat. The map feels pleasant to the touch and is lighter than printed on paper.

In addition to terrain information, the map also shows huts, routes and other hiking services, as well as places to eat and stay. The map’s border also contains the coordinates of all huts in the area and information about the difference. The scale is 1:50,000, which is best suited for Finnish fell terrain (1 cm on the map = 500 m in the terrain).
