Karttakauppa Lemmenjoki

Outdoor map Lemmenjoki 1:100,000 / 1:50,000 is printed on waterproof synthetic material. The new durable Finnish outdoor maps can be identified by the yellow marking on the cover.

In the Lemmenjoki National Park area, you can enjoy the peace of the wilderness. The landscape is dominated by a magnificent river valley, rugged fells and wide ravines. Those interested in wilderness culture will find gold diggers, reindeer herding structures and historic cabins in Lemmenjoki. The outdoor map covers the entire national park and extends from Menesjärvi to Korsatuva and from Angeli to Kuttura. In the north, a large part of the Ovre Anarjohka National Park on the Norwegian side is also visible. A new theme route introducing gold mining, the Gold Trail, is marked on the map.

The map material is completely waterproof and can withstand almost unlimited folding, and it will not tear during normal map use. The properties are maintained even in frost and heat. The print is sharp and the colors are bright. The map feels pleasant to the touch and is lighter than printed on paper.

In addition to terrain information, the double-sided map includes huts, routes and other hiking services, as well as places to eat and stay. Ten attractions or experiences in the area have been added to the map, which are described in a few sentences in the map margin in Finnish and English. The map margin also contains the coordinates of all the huts in the area and information about the exception. The scale of the main map is 1:100,000, which is very suitable for moving around in the vast wilderness (1 cm on the map = 1 km on the terrain). As a new feature, the map now includes a more accurate 1:50,000 scale (1 cm on the map = 500 m on the ground) map of the Lemmenjoki valley and its surroundings, where most hikers travel.
