Ultralight pad for use under an airpad.
The Finnish-made Kaira Litetrek pad is incredibly lightweight, especially suitable for summer use as a protective layer under an airpad. Since the pad is even thinner than a “gas station pad”, it is only suitable as an actual sleeping pad in optimal conditions, e.g. if you’re camping on a sandy beach.
A pad made of foam material is worry-free: even if a branch or a dog’s claws perforate the material, its insulating ability will remain largely intact.
