Ivanhoe’s NLS products are made from undyed boiled wool—its color reflects the natural shade of the sheep it came from! The acronym NLS stands for New Level of Sustainability, highlighting the brand’s strong commitment to responsible and sustainable production, as skipping the dyeing process entirely means avoiding great amounts of water spent, and chemical load created.
How does boiled wool differ from felted wool? A boiled wool product is first knitted into shape, and then treated with hot water.
