A fast-paced shoe for intervals and running events, with an energy returning plate.
The name referring to the speed of sound (Mach) gives a hint about the intended use of this shoe: fast-paced training runs and race efforts. The Hoka Mach X 3 features a Pebax plate that captures some of the energy during landing and returns it during toe-off. The running feel is responsive and firm.
This model is optimized for a pacey running style, so we do not recommend the Mach X 3 for walking or easy everyday jogging.
