The Rab Namche GTX Jacket is the go-to jacket for hikers, tour skaters, and active outdoor enthusiasts. This three-layer shell is an excellent choice even for long adventures: moisture doesn’t get trapped in the fabric structure, and the durability is top-notch! With a high quality shell jacket like the Namche, even the worst of weather feels easy to tolerate.

This version of the Namche Jacket boasts a revolutionary, new Gore-Tex membrane made entirely free of fluorocarbons. The hydrostatic head is at the same level as before: > 28 000 mm.

The overall weight is nice and low, without it being in the category of insanely thin ‘racing jackets’.

The hood is made for a perfect fit with thin or thicker headwear but not helmets; thanks to not having to be able to cover a helmet, it offers fantastic wearing comfort with beanies and caps of all sorts.

As a three layer Gore jacket, it’s easy to predict for this product to have a long service life and great function. The structure is durable, and thanks to there being no separate liner fabric, moisture has nowhere to hide. A good choice for hiking and other outdoor activities, when you want to invest in quality!

To keep your shell jacket in top form, it’s wise to use a quality detergent and DWR product. We recommend Grangers Wash Concentrate and Repel Plus products for the job!

Rab’s Namche products are designed for demanding use. They are a perfect choice for hikes and even climbing trips whenever you need protection from rain, sleet, and biting wind! Light weight, and equipped with a simple elastic waist, they are easy to don without having to take your shoes off, when the weather strikes.

Many lightweight shell pants with an elastic waist like this, are made using a so-called 2.5-layer construction, but the three-layer construction of the women’s Rab Namche pants is far, far more durable. Even so, the weight of the pants is nice and low.

Like other Gore-Tex products today, these pants are made without the use of PTFE: the Gore-Tex ePE membrane is based on polyethylene. A huge leap toward more environmentally friendly production!
