Tenacious Tape Silnylon Pathces: Silicone treated fabrics have been notoriously difficult to patch with tape or sticker type solutions, as the slippery surface seems to shrug off everything except for a needle and some thread. Gear Aid has, however, finally managed to make a reliable solution to this use.

These patches adhere to silicone treated fabrics (silnylon, silpoly), nylon, polyester, fleece, vinyl, rubber and clean, unoiled leather.

You can also use the patch as a pre-emptive reinforcement in an area of a piece of apparel or gear you see wearing down faster than usual.
