Merino wool is warm and incredibly comfortable – its fibers are smoother and finer than those of regular sheep’s wool. As a result, many people who find wool itchy can comfortably wear merino wool products.

The merino wool used in this sweater is traceable, and as with all merino wool products sold by Scandinavian Outdoor, the so-called mulesing method has not been used in its production.

The Övik Waffle Knit is both beautiful and practical – wear it in cool indoor settings or as part of your winter layering system. The material requires minimal washing; airing out the wool sweater is usually sufficient.
