Exped Field Repair Kit

Owners of inflatable sleeping pads may occasionally encounter a situation where the pad needs patching. Exped’s new repair kit is unique, as its adhesive is UV-curable – making the process possible even in cooler conditions.

• Includes instructions, cleaning wipes, five patches, a tube of adhesive, and a UV light
• Locate the hole, clean the area around it with a wipe, apply a thin layer of glue over the hole, and use the UV light for 30 seconds to cure the adhesive
• You can also apply one of the included TPU patches over the glued area

To help locate a hole in the pad, inflate it and use a small piece of paper or a feather: “scan” the surface of the mat by watching and listening. When the paper or feather crosses the path of escaping air, you’ll usually see or hear at least something.
