With its whopping 7.5 cm thickness, the DeepSleep pad is easy to adjust to a highly comfortable level of softness. Its R value is also impressive, making it suitable for any temperature. Another fact that hints towards its suitability for winter use is its admittedly large packing size and hefty weight, making it more compatible with sleds than backpacks.
This self-inflating sleeping pad draws in most of the required air on its own as the foam inside returns to its original shape. A small “Top Up Pump” is included, which you can press to adjust the mat to your preferred firmness.
