Ebelt Shade

The buckle on the Ebelt Shade belt is NOT removable and cannot be shortened. Contrary to what the picture on the packaging might suggest. Misleading.

An absolute belt for hiking and outdoor pants. Sturdy enough to carry a knife or other accessories without bending. The buckle works and holds well, in my own use the belt has not come off the buckle. With the ring, a belt with a thinner buckle may be a more pleasant option, at least for some, but otherwise this works really well in active use. When traveling, a plastic buckle is good, because you don't have to take it off during the security check.
