With this sweater on, you’ll stay warm even in the coldest conditions: wear it on its own over a base layer, or under a shell or parka in freezing weather. The sweater has been washed and pre-shrunk at the factory.
The Nansen sweater is named after Fridtjof Nansen, a Norwegian explorer, who in 1888 became the first person to cross Greenland. Devold was his brand of choice. The Nansen wool sweater is thick and warm — wool provides excellent insulation, even when slightly damp. It also naturally resists odor buildup.
