The Nansen Legacy wool sweater is a thick and warm choice. The large logo text across the chest leaves no doubt about the brand. The cuts in the Legacy collection are a touch more modern than the classic models, while the wool itself is the same traditional Norwegian sheep’s wool.

A traditional wool sweater performs well in cool and cold conditions. Worn on its own, it’s best when wind protection isn’t needed; layered under a shell or winter jacket, it adds a hefty dose of warmth. Wool insulates even when damp, has natural anti-odour characteristics, and instead of washing, you are usually fine by just airing it.
