A warm sweater made of 100% wool, slightly lighter version.
A new version of a timeless favorite! This wool sweater, largely unchanged since 1860 and originally made for work use, is crafted from Norwegian organic wool. The machine-knitted panels are produced in Lithuania and still sewn together by hand. Wool is a renewable material, and many wool sweaters remain their owner’s favorites even years later—even with a patch or two.
Islender is the Norwegian term for this type of sweater, and the word refined in the product name refers to a few subtle updates. The Refined sweater is somewhat lighter than the original, making it suitable for a wider range of uses.
A wool sweater works well in cool and cold conditions. On its own, it’s best when you don’t need wind protection; layered under a shell or winter jacket, it adds a generous boost of warmth. Wool insulates even when damp, naturally resists odor buildup, and usually needs only a good airing instead of frequent washing.
