Devold Archive Anorak

Devold is once again making a wool anorak! The name “Archive” refers to the fact that the patterns for this model were dug out of Devold’s own archives—this time from the 1990s.

The dense knit and weight of no less than 500 grams per square meter make the Archive Anorak comfortable in a wide range of conditions: it offers wind protection in a different way than a traditional wool sweater, and the hood provides extra coverage.

Wool is a fantastic material for outdoor and nature enthusiasts. It’s quiet, naturally resists odor buildup, and keeps you warm even when damp.

The Archive Anorak works just as well in the city as it does on the trail.

• Wool fiber thickness: 31 microns, meaning the fiber is one and a half to two times thicker than in soft base layers

This Devold product is, of course, also mulesing-free, meaning the painful practice has not been used on the sheep.

Take good care of your Merino apparel - regular detergents are a bit over the top for use with wool, so we recommend using Nikwax Wool Wash, regardless of whether you wash your apparel in a machine or by hand.
