Black Diamond is known for its products made for mountainous terrain. These poles are right at home on fell and mountain trails! Unlike ultralight racing style trail running poles, these are made to endure miles and miles of use.
The structure is not telescopic but collapsible: a cable running inside locks the pieces together in the operating position, and allows the tubes to separate when unlocked. This type of pole packs shorter than telescopic poles.
