Arc'teryx Women's Gamma Pant

Flexible softshell pants are a versatile choice. The men’s Arc’teryx Gamma pants have been on the market for years, and they work equally well on hikes, climbing trips, and as part of a sporty everyday outfit.

Designed for cool conditions, the Gamma pants have enough freedom of movement for any sport, as the fabric contains 12% elastane. The tightly knit fabric and DWR treatment offer some protection from light rain, although you’ll want to bring actual rain pants with you for a rainy hike.

The inner surface of the pants is very comfortable when worn directly against the skin, but in cooler weather, long-legged underwear can easily slip under.
