The Arcteryx Beta AR jacket for men uses two different strength outer fabrics: the upper back, shoulders and sleeves are made of extra-strong fabric, while the rest of the fabric is lighter. Underneath both fabrics is a completely waterproof, windproof and breathable Gore-Tex Pro ePE membrane that does not contain any PTFE.
The Beta AR offers you top quality for the price and works in trekking and hiking all year round when you combine it with weather-appropriate base and midlayers. The jacket’s design allows for plenty of freedom of movement for many sports. As the fabrics are not of an ultralight type, it’s easy to predict a long service life for this jacket.
The adjustable hood, hem and cuffs, together with underarm vents, allow you to adjust the jacket to suit the situation: sometimes you make your way through the landscape with all the hatches closed, sometimes you use all the ventilation methods.
