The women’s Arc’teryx Sentinel Jacket is a reliable choice for freeriding and snowboarding. Premium materials and carefully considered details work both on the skin up as on the ride down, with an uncompromising emphasis on the downhill part.
This is an unpadded jacket, in nearly 100% clean shell style: the difference to regular 3 layer shells is in the liner, which resembles the inside of a soft shell jacket more than that of a regular shell.
Updated for autumn 2026, this version uses slightly heavier fabric than before (100 vs. 80 denier) and now has a chest pocket. The cut has also been refined for a more modern fit.
