Like many other Xero shoes, the Ridgeway Chelsea model combines the appearance of regular shoes with the non-supportive and non-cushioned sole structure familiar from barefoot designs. With ample room in the front to allow the foot to spread naturally with each step, the core elements of good barefoot shoes are present.
At first glance, the sole looks thick, but in reality, the sole material has simply been extended up the side of the shoe.
In typical Chelsea boot style, these shoes are easy to slip on and off, thanks to the elastic panels at the ankle.
