The Roma slippers are made from leather that adapts to the shape of your foot. This model is named after Rome, where one of the brand’s founders, Kalle, lived during his youth.
The design shares many features with barefoot shoes, but the Carbon Step insoles inside provide just enough structure that the manufacturer doesn’t classify them as true barefoot shoes. Compared to regular footwear, your feet still get to work in a different way – the sole is only 3 mm thick.
The slippers feature zero drop, meaning the sole is equally thick at both the heel and the ball of the foot. This allows for a more natural foot position compared to traditional shoes, where the heel is typically elevated. The insole is slightly wedge-shaped, but the soft material compresses under the heel to match the thickness at the front.
