The Winter Carnivals are genuine Sorels: made for harsh winter conditions. Compared to the heaviest models, this one features a lighter upper material and a more walkable sole, making it a great choice if you’re looking for versatile winter boots rather than something for standing in the snow for hours.
The basic idea of the original “duck boot” design is present in the Winter Carnivals: the lower part, which is most exposed to water, is made of rubber, while the shaft is made waterproof with treated leather. Since this model is designed for winter use, it includes a removable, washable 6 mm thick inner boot made of technical felt.
