Legendary women’s winter boot with a thick liner.
The Sorel Caribou is a legendary winter boot with thick insulation. This “Canada boots” style footwear features a natural rubber lower section and a sturdy leather upper. It provides excellent warmth, thanks in part to its well-insulated sole structure.
The manufacturer states that these boots can handle temperatures as low as -40°C. While individual cold tolerance varies, this rating indicates that the Caribou is designed for serious winter conditions.
Due to the thick, highly insulating sole, these boots are relatively heavy. We recommend them primarily for situations where you spend a lot of time standing still. For long walks, a lighter and more form-fitting boot might be a better option.
In the “Buff” color, the laces are actually black.
