Cotton polyester fabric is a popular hiking trouser material, and for a reason: it breathes well, dries very quickly and provides adequate protection from the wind, without feeling plasticky. The fabric is impregnated at the factory with both wax and Nikwax Cotton Proof, which also speeds up drying even further and repels the droplets of small showers.

The features work all year round: with suitable underwear, these work, for example, on a ski trip, and in summer, mosquitoes have trouble biting through the tight fabric.
