Reima Sormes Mitts

Sormes is the right choice when it’s already chilly and there are occasional showers, but the frost hasn’t yet dropped to extreme levels. They provide a solid grip on a bicycle handlebar, thanks to the durable synthetic leather reinforcement on the palm.

For those interested in the technical details: the outer fabric scored 30,000 cycles in the Martindale abrasion test, has a water column rating of 10,000 mm, and breathability of 7000 g/m²/24h. The Fellex insulation consists of 90% Repreve recycled polyester and 10% recycled polyester.

(And no, we don’t know why this model is called “Mitts”, when they are clearly five finger gloves.)
