Like other Rab sleeping bags, the Mythic series got completely redesigned for spring 2026. The Mythic remains true to its original role: incredibly lightweight for its warmth, extremely compact when packed, and a perfect choice for ultralight backpackers or for any use involving long distances and/or large elevation gains.

This “0” model is suitably warm for summer use in the Nordics.

The down is absolutely top quality, with a fill power of 900. It is also treated with a Grangers finish to resist moisture and reduce clumping.

The down baffles are of the L.O.F.T. 3D type, which eliminates cold spots and effectively prevents down from shifting. Side sleepers’ shoulders or hips are not at risk with this bag, as the insulation stays exactly where it is needed. The sleeping bag’s L.O.F.T. 3D construction also makes the bag as light and compact as possible.

The structure includes TILT material, which reflects body heat radiation back toward the sleeper.

Includes a lightweight compression stuff sack for travel use and a more spacious storage sack for home use — and the latter is very much worth using, as a bag stored loosely keeps its loft for many years.
