** Scout Skill Badge ** is a fabric square with a stylized SP badge and spruce profile embroidered. Pt competition badges are symbols ** of participation and success in patrol skills competitions **. The badge is attached to the right sleeve of the scout shirt or even to an anorak, race coverall or backpack, for example.

There are four (from 2021) different categories of the brand:
(previously there were 3 categories, gold is new)

Green • Participate as a competitor or organizer in at least five flagship, regional or scout district PT competitions, national PT competitions or Finnish Championships patrol skills competition. • All series will be considered for participation

Red • Participate as a competitor or organizer in at least ten flagship, regional or scout district PT competitions, national PT competitions or Finnish Championships patrol skills competition. • All series will be considered for participation

Gray • Participate in at least fifteen scout district pt competitions, national pt competitions or Finnish Championships scout skills competition. • All series will be considered for participation • Participation also takes into account significant organizational tasks (eg JTMK-pests) in at least district-level patrol skills competitions.

** Gold ** (new 2021->) • Participate in at least fifty scout district pt competitions, national pt competitions or SM scout skills competition. • Be ranked in the better half of the number of guards in the series in at least five of these patrol competitions. • All series will be considered for participation • Participation also takes into account significant organizational tasks (eg serial director or JTMK-pests) in at least district-level patrol skills competitions.
