A versatile three season sleeping bag, with convertible function for summer use.
Contour Lux is a luxury-level choice for camping overnights. Gone are the cramped days of narrow mummy-style bags or the slippery feel of traditional linings! There’s plenty of space, the bag can be fully opened into a blanket, and the inner fabric is brushed for a pleasantly soft surface.
A unique feature is the bag’s reversible warmth: in “summer mode,” the thinner insulated side is on top of the sleeper, while in “three-season mode,” the thicker side provides more warmth from above.
The best indicator of the bag’s warmth—its lab-tested Comfort temperature—is +4°C when used in the standard orientation and +14°C when reversed. The Limit temperatures are -1°C and +11°C respectively, and the less relevant Extreme temperatures are -16°C and 0°C.
Th Contour Lux is aimed at use in camping grounds. While the nearly 2 kg of weight is not astronomical, the packing size disagrees with most backpacks.
