Morakniv
Morakniv products are manufactured in the town of Mora, Sweden. The story of Mora began in 1891 with the production of handcrafted knives.
Mora today
The range has expanded tremendously since those early days. In the Mora selection you’ll find products for handicrafts, camping, the kitchen and everything in between. The price–quality ratio of the knives is excellent. In its wooden-handled models, Mora now uses only FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood. The properties of the blade steel are carefully chosen: Morakniv blades are durable and sufficiently flexible so they are not brittle.
Uncomplicated tool
In the Nordic countries, the knife has a firmly established position and, although knives are also collectors’ items, in most cases they are simply practical, functional and reliable tools. Morakniv knives are practical, sharp straight out of the box, and easy to maintain. The Morakniv factory produces 7,000 blades per hour and around three million knives and blades per year.
