Compared to the previous model, this second version adds 30% shock absorbing foam in the midsole.

Compared to light trail running shoes, this model has a stiffer, more supportive midsole that offers protection from sharp terrain features and reduces foot fatigue on uneven terrain.

The toe compartment has extra height, which is great news for people whose toes often feel cramped.
