As is typical for the Wrapt series, the sole structure offers a barefoot-like feel thanks to the Merrell Barefoot 2.0 system: the sole is anything but stiff, and the cushioning is relatively moderate. This allows the foot to move more naturally. However, the feel is not as harsh as in the most minimalist barefoot shoes.
