I ordered size L, I usually wear size M/L in pants. The waist is quite tight, but it's a plus that the waist is high. The pants are a really wide model, but since they don't stretch, it's reasonable to have a fair fit that you can use e.g. while cycling without touching your knees. I would say that they are not stylish pants, but they do their job as rain pants. I am 173 cm tall and the length was good.
