The Guides Down has been a part of the Marmot lineup for years, and for good reason: they simply got it right the first time. The model is clearly warmer than the lightest ones out there.

This version boasts a surface fabric made of 100% recycled fiber, and even the down fill now comes 80% from recycled sources: old down jackets, duvets etc. are sourced, the down is cleaned thoroughly and analyzed for its fill power rating, then used in new products. And what about the reimaining 20%? That’s made of kapok flour down, from a seed pod.
