The Pro version of a bestseller, with a durable three layer structure.
The hugely popular Precip series’ Pro jacket is made with a three-layer construction. This is the most durable shell garment structure: the inner side of the outer fabric has a waterproof and breathable membrane, and a lining fabric is laminated directly onto the membrane. This provides the best possible protection for the membrane. It’s recommended to wear a long-sleeved shirt underneath, but it’s not necessary, for example during a summer rain – the inner surface feels more pleasant against the skin than typical 2.5-layer materials when worn over a t-shirt.
This jacket is a great choice not only to bring along in case of rain, but also as a general purpose hiking jacket in cool conditions.
