The Knife Edge Jacket is a reliable tool for any situation where breathability and light weight are just as important as complete weather protection. This is the sort of use Gore-Tex Paclite was originally made for, and over the years Gore has been developing its performance even further.
- Waterproof, windproof and highly breathable Gore-Tex Paclite material
- 50 denier surface fabric enables a very compact packing size
- Hem adjustment with elastic cord
- Angel-Wing cut: excellent freedom of movement without a baggy form
- Pockets and pit ventilation zips are positioned in such a way they’ll work well even with a backpack
- Velcro tabs at cuffs
- Hydrostatic head: > 28 000 mm
- Center back length: 74.9 cm = 29.5”
In Gore-Tex Paclite the surface fabric is laminated together with the membrane. After this, a “liner material coating” containing carbon has been applied on the inside. As this material is not fabric, it is extremely low-bulk and light weight and it plays an integral role in the product’s breathability
