The Skare Expedition is Lundhags’ warmest boot model. The 5 mm thick insole inside aids in daily use: by removing it, you can speed up the drying process after a long day. The lower part of the boot is made from fully waterproof Certech rubber compound, and the shaft is crafted from Perwanger suede leather.
Many hiking boots have outsoles that stiffen in freezing temperatures. This model, however, features a sole made from IceTrek compound, which is specifically designed for winter use.
The Skare Expedition is a traditional Lundhags shell boot: the construction contains no fragile membranes—instead, the waterproof part is solid rubber, and the parts less exposed to moisture are made from water-repellent leather.
