Top-quality Lundhags boot without a waterproof membrane. Wide last.

The Lundhags Professional II High Opti is a top quality boot without a waterproof membrane, designed for the truly demanding user. This Opti model has an extra wide last.

Compared to trekking boots from Central Europe, Lundhags has a unique construction: there is no waterproof membrane. The lower part of the boot is instead made of patented Certech rubber. The shaft is made of leather, which can be given a water-repellent treatment.

The Lundhags last is roomy and their boots are extremely longlasting.

  • 27 cm high foam-filled shaft
  • Fast and easy lacing
  • Rubbermac Defender sole and midsole with extremely high torsional rigidity
  • A 6 mm layer of EVA absorbs shocks and insulates against cold from the ground
  • Excellent reinforcements at the toe and heel
  • Opti last has more room for the ball of the foot

weight: 890g/boot (size 42)

Care of Lundhags shell boots: Clean the boots regularly from loose dirt and dry them at room temperature – also remove the insoles to dry after use. Treat the shaft parts with wax or grease for water repellency when you see that the leather requires care. This is not done on new boots – the first treatment should be after about 100 km of use (depending on conditions). Do not wax or grease “just in case” / too often, so that the seams do not stay wet and the leather does not start to “bag” / lose its natural properties (as the warranty cobbler puts it). The waterproof lower part is not treated with any product – cleaning is enough. Replace insoles and laces when necessary.

Register your Lundhags shell boots according to the instructions included in the shoe box – this way you will have a warranty covering manufacturing and material defects, with no time limit. Note! Lundhags handles warranty cases based on whether the boots have been maintained according to the care instructions – and this will indeed show on the boots over time.
