Light but high shaft hiking boots for men, with a three layer shaft.
The new Lundhags Padje Light Trekking Boot follows Lundhags traditions as a so-called shell boot: it is intended to be worn with two pairs of socks, the lower part is made of guaranteed waterproof Certech rubber, and the shaft is made of water-repellent treated leather.
The Lundhags Padje Light Trekking Boot High is a solid choice when in search of reliable, top quality boots for hiking, hunting and other outdoor activities, and you want boots with a long service life. This model has been designed in a way that enables repairs if they get worn or damaged.
In this model, the shaft consists of three material layers: the outer layer is extremely high-quality leather, the middle layer is Ariaprene padding which also provides ankle support and thermal insulation, and the inside has a microfiber fabric lining.
- Standard Lundhags last: slightly wider than average, with a spacious toe box
- Shaft outer material: Heinen Terracare nubuck leather
- Shock-absorbing heel
- Felt insoles
- Lower part made from Certech Exp rubber compound, lined with EVA foam and microfiber fabric
- HeelFitControl construction secures the heel in place
- Vibram Curcuma outsole
- Made in Europe
The boots come with an extra pair of laces. The metal lace hooks may wear out the first pair of laces faster than usual.
Note! The shaft of this boot model is not waterproof.

Maintenance of Lundhags shell boots:
The boots should be regularly cleaned of loose dirt and dried at room temperature – the insoles should also be removed and dried after use. The shaft parts should be treated with water-repellent wax or grease when it is clear that the leather needs care. This should not be done on new boots – the first time after about 100 km of use (depending on conditions).
Waxing or greasing must not be done “just in case” or too frequently, so that the stitching does not remain wet and the leather does not start to become baggy or lose its natural properties. The waterproof lower part does not need any treatment, cleaning is sufficient. Insoles and laces should be replaced when necessary.
