Considering its capacity, Mission 12 is quite lightweight - even a larger water bladder does not weigh much by itself. The Mission is suitable for camp use: upon arriving at the camp, you fill the bladder and hang it up - the Mission can filter up to 12 liters per hour at its best.
The filter provides protection against bacteria, parasites, protozoa, and viruses. It also reduces the overall dirtiness and turbidity of the water.
