Opening of the Life Outdoors Forest Nature Trail

Our Life Outdoors forest is the Topenginleija nature reserve in Kustavi. Together with the Natural Heritage Foundation, we've built a 2.5 km nature trail there. Join us for the opening on Friday 16 October 2026.

Welcome to the Topenginleija nature reserve. From 11:00 to 15:00, we'll be serving coffee, tea and a few sweet snacks at the campfire site. If you'd like something more filling, you can buy a hearty soup lunch at Kustavin Itätalo, right next to the car park.

Walk the trail at your own pace, then come and have a chat with us by the fire. We're also running a competition where you can win a gift card for the Scandinavian Outdoor online store.

Dress for the weather and bring your own kuksa or mug for hot drinks – it helps us cut down on waste. You're also welcome to bring something to grill over the campfire. Please sign up so we know how many people to expect.

The reserve's car park only has space for five cars, but during the opening you can also park at Kustavin Itätalo. Park up on the rocky area – the rest of the ground can get muddy.
