Icebug’s reliable studded shoes have earned the brand a strong reputation. Icebug refers to its studs as “dynamic”: if you need to walk on a surface like stone, the studs retract slightly so that the rubber of the sole can make some contact with the surface — this means Icebug shoes are less slippery on smooth rock surfaces than many others.
The upper is made of oiled nubuck leather and genuine felt.

The shoes contain 35% bio-based materials and 27% recycled materials. The leather is traceable all the way to the farm. The PrimaLoft insulation fiber is recycled and biodegradable. The BugDri membrane contains 50% GRS-certified recycled PET plastic. The BUGrip outsole contains 20% recycled rubber.
