Rotpunkt plays with the look and color palette of 1980s approach shoes. They are pleasantly lightweight on the feet—a different world from heavy-duty hiking boots. In the classification used by certain European footwear manufacturers, these fall into the “AB” category in terms of stiffness and support—somewhere between a flexible walking shoe and a relatively sturdy hiking boot.
Rotpunkt is an excellent addition to sporty everyday outfits, and it will keep your toes dry during mid-season puddle encounters. It’s also a good choice for light hiking use—its weight is closer to that of a running shoe than a hiking boot.

The name Rotpunkt, German for Red dot, refers to the manufacturer’s classic logo.
