Gore-Tex boots for hunters, nature observers and why not hikers as well. Straight Fit Extra last.
Perfectly designed boots for outdoor activities, where proper protection from water and sharp terrain features is more important than lightness. In the ABCD shoe classification, the Kalixfors falls into category BA, meansing they are strike a great balance between support and flexibility. They are not as stiff as the appearance might suggest. Thanks to the structure and flexibility of the midsole, the stride has a nice rolling feel which helps you reduce noise when on the move.
The Kalixfors SF Extra uses the Hanwag Straight Fit Extra last, which is wider at the front of the foot, and allows the big toe to align straight forward.
The lace tension can be adjusted separately at the foot and the shaft, independently of each other - in both sections, most of the lace loops have ball bearings that equalize the tension within the section, and the locking loop at the ankle isolates the sections from each other.
The Kalixfors keeps your feet comfortable, whether you are in a nature photography hide waiting for animals to arrive, striding in the chain of a hunting club without being able to use trails, on a hike in wet terrain or standing in a bird tower in the freezing wind.
