Fjällräven Women's Keb Trousers Curved & Bergtagen G-1000 Jacket

Men’s highly technical hiking pants with stretch panels. Main material: higly wear resistant G-1000 polyester cotton. Additional material: stretch fabric (polyamide and elastane). The G-1000 used in these trousers is made of organic cotton and recycled polyester.

This product boasts the new Fjällräven Improved Fit! Now, the size number only affects the width, and you choose inseam length from three alternatives.

Updated model: Improved fit, extra ventilation at calves, and pockets for knee pads. The inseam has been split to two seams further away, reducing both wear and risk of chafing. The knee and seat area’s fit has been improved to accommodate a large range of motion.

The pant’s durability has also been enhanced, by solutions such as reinforcing the rear seam, and adding another layer of fabric on the hem.

This product has been treated with a beeswax-based product called Greenland Wax. By reapplying the wax treatment once in a while you ensure the best service life and performance.

Comfortable for an even wider range of outdoor enthusiasts, the Improved Fit enhances wearing comfort and offers a wider range of motion - these pants won’t hinder you when bending over to tie your boot laces, or kneel to take the best close-up photo of the day. In addition, the size number no longer affects the leg length, instead Short sizes have a 30” = 76 cm, Regular sizes a 32” = 81 cm and Long sizes a 34” = 86 inseam.

Polyester cotton has been a common material for hiking pants and jackets for decades. It breathes well and offers moderate wind protection, while also drying very quickly when needed. The generously cut Bergtagen G-1000 is spacious enough to accommodate thicker mid-layers when necessary. Thanks to this, in dry conditions and during active movement, this jacket is also suitable for winter use.

Fjällräven Bergtagen products are designed to meet the demands of dedicated trekkers — the word bergtagen refers to those who are either in the mountains or longing to be there.

The G-1000 fabric has been factory treated with beeswax-based Greenland Wax. Wear and washes wear away at the wax, but you can easily reapply some, just buy a block of wax with your jacket.
