Fjällräven Skogsö Jacket - A hiking jacket with great breathability. Men’s model. Made of both G-1000 and G-1000 Lite, this jacket combines durability with breathability in a great fashion. Along the decades, polycotton jackets like this have been seen in hiking use pretty much year round, in sporty urban use, and many outdoor hobbies.

Although one-layered, the fabric is tightly knit enough, that especially when properly waxed, it resists mosquito bites quite well.

The wax treatment on the jacket can be renewed at home. Buy a block of Greenland Wax, rub the block onto the fabric after washing, and melt it into the fabric fibers using a hairdryer or iron. When the fabric comes from the factory, the wax treatment is even and uniform, while self-waxed products will have a unique, slightly rougher appearance.
